Welcome to ExpressBook. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our service booking platform, including our website and mobile application. By accessing or using ExpressBook, you agree to be bound by these Terms

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using ExpressBook services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

Service Description

ExpressBook provides a platform that enables service providers to manage their bookings, accept payments, and operate their businesses. We also provide customers with the ability to discover, book, and pay for services.

Account Registration and Security

To use certain features of ExpressBook, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

User Responsibilities

As a user of ExpressBook, you agree to:

  • Use the service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Provide accurate service information and availability (for service providers)
  • Honor confirmed bookings and cancellation policies
  • Treat other users with respect and professionalism
  • Not misuse or abuse the platform or its features

Prohibited Activities

You may not use ExpressBook to:

  • Violate any laws, regulations, or third-party rights
  • Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform’s operation
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or data
  • Use automated tools to access or collect data (scraping, bots, etc.)
  • Engage in any illegal, harmful, or abusive conduct

Booking Terms

When you make a booking through ExpressBook:

  • You enter into a direct contractual relationship with the service provider
  • You agree to the provider’s specific terms, pricing, and cancellation policies
  • You must provide accurate contact and payment information
  • You agree to show up on time or cancel according to the provider’s policy
  • ExpressBook facilitates the booking but is not a party to the service agreement

Payment Terms

Payments are processed securely through our payment partner, Stripe. By making a payment, you agree to:

  • Pay all charges at the prices in effect when incurred
  • Provide valid payment information
  • Pay applicable taxes and fees
  • ExpressBook platform fees (charged to service providers)
  • Platform fees are non-refundable, even if bookings are cancelled

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation and refund policies are set by individual service providers. Please review the specific policy before booking. General guidelines:

  • Cancellations must be made according to the provider’s stated policy
  • Refunds are calculated based on the time of cancellation
  • Platform fees are non-refundable
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • No-shows may forfeit the right to refunds

Service Provider Responsibilities

If you are a service provider using ExpressBook, you additionally agree to:

  • Provide accurate service descriptions, pricing, and availability
  • Honor all confirmed bookings or provide adequate notice of changes
  • Maintain appropriate licenses, permits, and insurance
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Provide quality services as described
  • Handle customer data responsibly and in compliance with privacy laws
  • Pay applicable subscription and platform fees

Intellectual Property Rights

ExpressBook is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including:

  • Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, or availability
  • Warranties that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • We do not guarantee the quality of services provided by third-party providers
  • We are not responsible for disputes between users and service providers

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ExpressBook and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
  • Damages arising from your use or inability to use the service
  • Damages resulting from third-party services or providers
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the past 12 months

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ExpressBook and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any laws or third-party rights
  • Your use of the service
  • Content you submit or share
  • Disputes with other users or service providers

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to ExpressBook at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
  • Extended periods of inactivity
  • Non-payment of fees (for service providers)
  • Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately

Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of ExpressBook shall be resolved through:

  • Good faith negotiation between the parties
  • Mediation, if negotiation fails
  • Binding arbitration or court proceedings in the appropriate jurisdiction
  • You agree to waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, through email or platform notifications. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
